AUG 28&29 2026: TOUGH TRUCK CHALLENGE

Price range: $40.00 through $50.00

Hill Top Resort Tough Truck Challenge on August 28 & 29 is an off-road race through an obstacle course including logs, rocks, tires and mud! Event classes for stock & modified 4×4 trucks and side by side vehicles. Friday pre party with the rockin Coz4alarm band, Saturday racing starts at 12 noon. After party and prize awards at the Hill Top Roadhouse bar at 8pm followed by burnouts and more live music. Race registration fee is $50 per vehicle entered – includes Friday & Saturday camping. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in all classes.

Early bird Spectator full weekend passes with camping are $50 until April 1
Early Bird Saturday only passes with camping are $40 until April 1

Safety First:

  • All participants must follow event rules, including the use of helmets, appropriate safety gear, and functional safety equipment on all vehicles. Complete rules are outlined below.

 

General Rules for All Participants:

  1. No alcohol in the pit area
  2. Full-face helmet with eye protection required
  3. Shirts and long pants required; no open-toed shoes
  4. Factory lap belts required (4-point harness recommended)
  5. Fire extinguisher recommended
  6. Non-stock fuel tanks must be secured, covered, and made of safe materials
  7. No exposed fuel lines in the driver’s compartment
  8. Battery must be secured and covered
  9. Working brakes required
  10. Recovery points required
  11. Windows must be rolled down; less glass is better
  12. All lug nuts must be present and tight

 

Stock Class Rules:

  • Open to all 4×4 vehicles
  • Must be or have been street legal
  • Factory suspension with lift up to 3.5 inches
  • Max tire size: 33” DOT tires (no tractor, ATV, or implement tires)
  • No nitrous, aftermarket turbos, or superchargers
  • Must have a roof and doors

 

Modified Class Rules:

  • “Run what you brung” attitude
  • Any truck with engine, radiator, driver’s compartment, or suspension modified beyond 3.5 inches of lift
  • Must have either a factory roof or roll cage
