JUNE 22 2024: TOUGH TRUCK CHALLENGE

Description

Hill Top Resort Tough Truck Challenge is an off-road race through an obstacle course including logs, rocks, tires and mud! This is a budget friendly race. We offer classes for both stock and modified 4×4 vehicles.

There is a fee of $50 per vehicle entered which includes free camping for the driver. There will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in both classes and other great prizes to be won.

We will have a starting point and finish line setup, and the fastest lap in each class will be declared winner. (Depending on driver turnout we may run each person multiple times with their fastest lap kept on record) Registration in person starts at 10am at the Mud Mayhem grounds located inside Hill Top Resort, located in Grand Beach Manitoba.

Driver’s meeting 11AM

Fun begins at 12 noon. The first trucks will be the stock class, followed by modified class.

Bounty hole from 4-5pm.

Intermission 5-8pm  At this point you are more than welcome to explore the park, including our private beach, off-road trails, get a bite to eat and enjoy your campsite.

At 8pm we will have a large bonfire with music and burnouts at the central stage area.

 

RULES FOR ALL

1. No alcohol in pit area
2. Full face helmet required (motocross or dot helmet approved) along with eye protection (goggles or safety glasses)
3. Shirts and long pants are mandatory, fire suits are recommended but not required, drivers must wear sneakers or boots no open toed shoes
4. Shoulder factory lap belts required but a 4-point harness is recommended
5. It is recommended to have a working fire extinguisher
6. Any vehicle not using a stock fuel tank must have a fuel cell or boat style fuel tank secured and covered with a non-conductive material
7. No exposed fuel lines in drivers compartment
8. Battery must be secured and covered by a non-conductive material
9. All vehicles must have working brakes
10. All vehicles must have recovery points
11. All glass must be rolled down (the less glass the better)
12. All lug nuts must be present and tight

RULES FOR STOCK CLASS 

1. All 4×4 vehicles welcome
2. Stock class vehicles must be or have been street legal
3. Stock/factory suspension type with lift up to 3.5 inch from factory
4. Max DOT tire size of 33 inches tall, no tractor, atv or implement tires.
5. No power adders. No nitrous, aftermarket turbos or superchargers.
6. Vehicles must have a driver’s compartment with roof and doors.

 

RULES FOR MODIFIED

1. Run what you brung
2. Any vehicle with movement of radiator, engine, drivers compartment or suspension modified more then 3.5 inch of lift will be classified as modified truck.
3. Must have a factory roof or roll cage.
